A dive bezel is used to track elapsed time underwater. It (generally) rotates only counterclockwise so it can’t accidentally extend dive time. It features a 60-minute scale with luminous markings for visibility and a luminous triangle at the top. Before diving, the diver sets the triangle to the current minute hand position, and the bezel then shows elapsed minutes as time passes.
